Halloween Night was in full force at the open mic at Doe Bay on Halloween Eve...

Madrone Kubovcik hosted and tore it up on a

variety of instruments....

Other players included Al Bentley on sax, Fabrice

Van Putten, Captain Halloween, Frank Michaels,

and yours truly on electric mando-cello.....

A highlight of the evening was Yvonne Safire

Smoke’s sultry rendition--performed ala “The Baker Boys” on top of the bar--of “Ain’t No Sunshine”....

“I Know, I Know, I Know, I Know, I Know, I Know, I Know, I Know,...”

Winners of the costume award went

to The Viking Family...

Well deserved...

Doe Bay will be hosting the open mic on Mondays--come on out!  A portion of the proceeds go to local charities.  One more reason to support

the event....
